Do you love the smell of the great outdoors with the natural perfume of flowers blooming in fields? Could you and your family use some quality time spent together or maybe a family photo update? As a photographer, I love finding things and places that serve multiple purposes. Half Moon Blooms is one of those multipurpose treasures that I love. From gorgeous bouquets for any occasion to a great way to spend time with family to even making a breathtaking backdrop for a captivating heirloom photo, this serene location has it all! Half Moon Blooms is full of opportunity and undeniable beauty.

About Half Moon Blooms

This enchanting flower farm, owned and cared for by Erin and her family of 4th generation farmers, is just one mile off Highway 395, ideally located between Wandermere and Deer Park. That’s just 7 minutes away from either location! When you arrive at their lush farm of sunflowers with wheat and countless bloomed floral treasures, you will park in the driveway of their farmhouse, and they wouldn’t have it any other way. Since they are set up as a self-serve business, during their public pick-up days, they want you to feel like you’re arriving at a friend’s house where you know where everything is, like their beautiful garden.

Services

I love all the potential this flower farm has. It’s so simple and versatile that I could plan anything here. Their “U-Pick” services make it all the more fun because you can play florist and create a unique and stunning bouquet that is all your own. You could gather the family for just a lighthearted and fun day of picking fresh flowers for the home, a BBQ, or a party, and enjoy the views while you connect with one another. Have a special day coming up? A bride could bring her bridesmaid where they can make their own bouquets—a lovely anniversary date for two. Even a little girl’s birthday party would be divine here. While this is a beautiful place to gather, you can also come on your own to pick flowers or sit under the shading tree and get some “you” time.

Need more time to pick flowers but love the idea of supporting the farm and having fresh flowers? You can always check if they have any grab ‘n’ go bouquets!

Specialty

The versatility doesn’t stop there. Half Moon Bloom’s fields make for a stunning backdrop. Their Sunflower fields are rich in color when they are in season and are always a welcoming sight to behold. Beautiful colors, natural lighting, and ample space make this an ideal location for family photos and more.
